When a Hertfordshire NHS Hospital needed a new storage cage for its numerous gas cylinder bottles they contacted Action Handling Equipment Ltd to provide a solution.

The main objective was to keep all the gas cylinder bottles in a secure and well-ventilated storage unit. Preferably in the open air and away from occupied buildings, boundaries and sources of ignition and heat.

A bespoke, fully welded, storage cage was supplied and delivered within 15 days, complying with all relevant H&S regulations. The cage had a hot-dip galvanised finish, which will maintain protection from corrosion for many years.



Our cages come fully assembled or in knock-down form, with all relevant hazard warning labels applied.

We can:
Fabricate any size cage, to hold any number of cylinders.
Offer specialist finishing i.e. galvanised, stainless steel or painted, colour to choose.
Mobilise units by adding castors.
