- A larger area will be required for larger equipment such as electric stackers.

- Racking must be supplied for training on all stackers.

- Access to a room that can be used to conduct classroom-based instruction.

- Delegate’s uninterrupted attendance for the duration of the course.

- Electric equipment must be fully charged prior to the course.

Is there a pass/fail mark on the courses?

- On all equipment excluding the stair climbers, we have pass/fail marks based on pre-use checks and practical use of the equipment. This is to ensure all operators are to a standard where they can use the equipment in a safe, responsible, and efficient manner.

Certificates:

- Providing delegates pass the course, they will receive a certificate stating that they have passed the basic operating skills test as defined in the health and safety executives approved code of practice L117.

- Certificates are valid for 3 years from the date of examination.

- If 3 years pass without taking a refresher course, then a novice course will be required to bring the operator back up to appropriate working standards.

Refresher Courses:

- We recommend refresher courses yearly to ensure all operators are maintaining proper and safe use of the equipment.

- On completion of the refresher course, certificates are issued providing the pass marks are met.
