Our selection of hand trucks is similarly extensive. There are many distinct types of truck subcategories in this category. Dollies and skates, stairclimbing trucks, do-it-yourself trucks, platform trucks, general purpose trucks, plastic trucks, fibreboard trucks, and many more are included here. The use of the correct hand truck will greatly improve productivity and help to prevent accidents and injuries within the workplace.
SACK TRUCKS
Sack trucks, sack trolleys or barrows, whichever you wish to call them, are all very useful tools for moving goods around your premises or between buildings. Constructed in steel or aluminium for lightness and fitted with varying lengths of toe plate, they are a great way of moving almost anything.We have models that are designed as stairclimbing sack trucks, and they come in both manual and electric models. There are fold up types for storing in vans or car boots and there are types made in stainless steel for hygiene areas.
PLATFORM TRUCKS
Action Handling have a great range of platform trucks in all sizes and capacities. They can be fitted with rubber, pneumatic or polyurethane tyred wheels and have many colour options available as well. There are some that come fitted with a box body to retain goods and ranges that are electrically powered to make the movement of goods really easy.
TURNTABLE TRUCKS & TRAILERS
Generally, our turntable trucks & trailers handle heavier or bulky items from 500kg capacity right up to 30 tonnes. They are either fitted with turntable or ackerman steering systems with which the latter can cope with very tight turning circles. We have a great range of styles, sizes and capacities to chose from, that will suit any application that you may have. They can be fitted with towing eyes so that they can be hooked up ‘in train’ to be towed behind forklift trucks or tugs. We have many options for having a box type body fitted onto the platform which will help in retaining any goods that you are moving. Drop sides, detachable sides or movable retaining bars can all be fitted. We have electric propelled versions to make the transport of goods around a premises easy and a variety of platform types can be fitted from timber to sheet steel or chequered plate. Consideration to which wheeling system will be needed dependant on the floor surface you are operating on. We offer rubber, pneumatic, polyurethane, nylon and foam filled wheels as standard as well as many other more specific types of wheeling and braking systems.
DOLLIES & SKATES
A very simple handling aid can make light work of moving boxes, cartons, filing cabinets, white goods and all manner of equipment. Action Handling supply a range of products constructed in timber, sheet steel, aluminium and plastic, with a choice of wheeling to suit your floors.
