Standard Dockplates

Used to bridge the gap and height variation between vehicle and loading bay when loading/unloading. Dockplates are typically used for pallet trucks, sack trucks, roll cages and pedestrian access.
To select correct plate:
1. Calculate height differential between vehicle floor level and dock level.
2. In accordance with BS EN 1398:2009 the minimum width should be 700mm wider than the track width of the equipment being used, unless restricted by your loading facilities and measures are taken to prevent operator and equipment from falling.
3. Determine max total load. If not covered by plates listed, then refer to Standard Dockboards.
4. Generally plates are for sack or pallet trucks (dockboards are recommended for fork truck use).

• Dockplates are manufactured from high tensile aluminium.
  
• All models feature a built-in anti-slip finish.
  
• Plates are crowned and bevelled for smooth operation.
  
• Includes loop type handles for easy movement (see fig 4).
  
• Optional feature of side curbs with castors for easy movement.
