Following the launch of some revolutionary products, a global leader in orthopaedic implants engaged Action Handling to consult and supply some specific equipment at their UK head-quarters. Action Handling’s Sales Director, Steve Phillips, was invited on-site to assess the client’s exact requirements and to discuss the best strategy to achieve their objectives
The key deliverables of this project were to supply:
- A safe and secure means of storing valuable goods in the warehouse.
- A heavy-duty system for storing and retrieving, long, heavy titanium bars.
Action Handling put forward the most suitable and cost-effective proposal, which led to a confirmed order for a bespoke mesh security cage and a cantilever racking system. The whole order was supplied, delivered and installed within a 2 week time-scale.
Cantilever racking
The versatility of the cantilever racking system means items can be stored on pallets, loose, wrapped and can be irregular in shape. This particular set of cantilever racking offers storage for varied lengths of titanium bar and bespoke timber shelves were fitted to the racking arms, to offer damage protection for the stored product.
Mesh security cage
Multi-purpose range of mesh storage cages, complete with mesh roof, for indoor or outdoor use. Suitable where 'light' security is required to combat theft. This particular mesh security cage offers our client a safe and secure storage area for various component parts. The door panels were fitted with bespoke steel plates, for the customer to retro-fit their own locking mechanism.
