There is an extremely wide selection of office and industrial shelving that contains designs to suit all environments. Whether you are outfitting a home-office, storeroom, warehouse or industrial plant, units nowadays are quoted as being fast delivery items and very easy to install.

It is important to note that this is where some care and attention is required, before a hasty and possibly expensive mistake can be made! Please seek some professional advice as to which shelving system is best suited for your application. Action Handling has a reputation for delivering solutions to businesses of all sizes, from sole traders to large multi-nationals, and we pride ourselves on offering the very best of advice coupled with a cost conscious approach to providing the customer with value for money.

Most industrial shelving on offer can be broken down into several categories but generally speaking there is an entry level, mid-range level and a top level. Here follows a useful guide as to the main attributes of each level:

Entry level
The economy boltless shelving system is supplied complete with five shelves and can be easily assembled in less than 5 minutes. Add-on units are also available if required. A unique connection between the shelf and uprights provides stability for the bay, eliminating the need for any bracing, clips or fixings. Specification: 70Kg per shelf; no nuts or bolts; incredibly strong and sturdy; Hammer grey finish

Mid-range
J-rivet racking is a strong, industrial quality unit at an excellent price point. With bays available in four heights, two widths and three depths, space planning of any room becomes simple. Specification: Easy to assemble and reconfigure; heavy duty 150Kg per shelf; 5 shelves per bay

Top level
Longspan and pallet beam racking provides unrivalled strength and rigidity at value-for-money prices. A pallet beam racking system has a broad range of sizes and capacities which all conform to SEMA and FEM regulations. Frames are supplied in knockdown form and either chipboard or wire decks are available.

No matter what your storage requirements are, there are systems to suit and provide you with the best advice to help you make an informed choice, without the risk of ending up with a shelving system that does not provide the best solution at an economical cost.
