We service all manner of materials handling products from pallet trucks to warehouse trolleys. Lifting equipment within the workplace is particularly important when you consider that IT IS THE LAW to have such items serviced and maintained in good running order. Under the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER 98) it is a legal requirement that the equipment is thoroughly examined at least every six months (if lifting persons, or a lifting attachment) and every 12 months (for all other lifting equipment).
The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) also requires that equipment provided for use at work is suitable for intended use, safe for use, serviced and maintained in a safe condition and in certain circumstances inspected to ensure this remains the case and a record is kept.
