A top British jewellery brand that leads the way in fine contemporary pieces have been making plans for this year’s Black Friday extravaganza event, by ensuring that staff have in place additional workstations to package orders received online from the frenzy anticipated during this year’s promotion.
They have a winning combination of creating perfect jewellery for everyday use and delicate items that are combined with precious gemstones, all at amazing prices. Hopefully this will ensure a bumper day of sales to rival last year's event, which took everyone by surprise! Of course they were expecting large volumes, but they hadn’t predicted an incredible 70,000 new customers on top of their existing ones to absolutely flood their in-house systems! So this year, new IT systems and processes have been deployed from start to finish in order to provide a total full belt and braces approach for dealing with the anticipated increase in sales..
Following discussions about the best style, size, desired layout, plus of course the all-important best negotiated price possible, 20 new workstations with grey worktops were ordered in a size of 915mm high x 1220mm wide x 915mm deep. The customer needed the workstations on site and installed promptly as the Black Friday event is on the horizon and the workstations need to be up and running to make sure that they are ready and organised for the big day. The order was placed, goods were supplied and delivered to site within 7 days. The very next day our installation team arrived at 9am to set out and build these incredibly strong packing workstations. The team soon had the 20 units constructed ready for the addition of storage bins and packing materials to allow orders to be packaged and labelled up ready for the courier to come and collect at the end of the day.
The customer was truly grateful for the help and service received, so fingers are crossed that this year will be even busier than last but with a rather less stressful event because of the new workstations and systems supplied. It’s so nice when a customer appreciates the work and effort to get orders turned around and on site quickly for a deadline.
