Information and notice boards have seemingly been around forever but we are now finding that companies are using them in a far more interactive way. Businesses want to engage in detail with customers, visitors and employees about how their company operates, what it's core values are plus present product info. These boards also allow people a voice by way of interactivity, enabling their input to become an important part of the business.
They even make a good place to hang decorations!
More and more we are producing tailor made information boards that are based around the exact content that customers require. Typically, some of these are now called ‘welcome boards' and offer the reader a whole host of useful data. Many of these boards utilise several panes that take A3, A4 and A5 sized sheets of information. The boards can be made to a bespoke size to suit the precise requirements of the user.
Proofs are sent for approval before production commences
One recent order for welcome boards measured 1680mm wide x 1075mm high, each with an address specific heading, finished in their corporate colour scheme and then delivered to multiple sites throughout the UK. These boards were made from 5mm thick foamex. Each one displayed the Health & Safety Law poster and included A4 document holders prepared to fit onto the boards, ready to go onsite for the customer to display in their reception area.
Another form of information board is the white board. Their construction offers greater longevity which suits an industrial, heavy plant or production environment.
Alongside information boards are shadow boards. Ideally suited to educate the user as to which of the displayed equipment should be used for each particular task in the workplace. There are nine standard designs to choose from but bespoke is also offered for large quantity orders, where corporate image is important and the tools on view need to fit specific jobs.
The way in which customers request quotes is varied. Some customers present us with their ideas by email, whilst others ask us to visit their site in order to discuss face to face the requirements of the buyers. Recently we worked up a bespoke design from a Power Point brief that was sent to us. Whichever way we are contacted, we are always able to put forward ideas for businesses to evaluate prior to purchase. It’s important that businesses choose the right sort of information board to get the most out of their investment, so accepting free advice is proven to be wise!
