Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) place duties on people and companies who own, operate or have control over lifting equipment. Equipment such as pallet trucks, stackers, fork trucks, scissor lifts and lifting cranes are all examples of items that would require such regular attention. Service and maintenance contracts are the ideal way of complying with LOLER. They are regular and can be scheduled around a company’s operations to ensure that safety is of paramount importance.
