The UEFA Women's 2022 Football Euro kicked off at Old Trafford on Wednesday 6th July with an England 1 – 0 win over Austria in front of a record 70,000 ecstatic fans. Sixteen teams will be battling it out until the final is held at Wembley on Sunday 31st July.

Can we stop the reigning champions Netherlands repeating their 2017 triumph or the 8 times winners Germany or even the much fancied Spanish team who have never won it before? Or just maybe we can repeat our success of back in 2005?

As a current sponsor of Haverhill Rovers Ladies FC we share their excitement and eagerness to see the game prosper and grow in the UK and a home tournament of this standing can only enhance the grass roots level along with the professional game alike.  

Tickets are still available at venues all around the country from Wembley - Brighton – Manchester – Southampton to name but only a few. In total there are 10 venues to watch matches, so come on and hurry up with your bookings as group games come thick and fast over the next few weeks.

Haverhill Rovers women’s senior team play in the Eastern Region Women’s Football League Division 1 and are managed by Dylan Galea. Their home ground is The New Croft in Haverhill, Suffolk.

We have donated a star player award to be presented each week with a certificate for an introduction to football for young girls 3-5 years old and also training kit sponsorship for the ladies first team shown below with players of varying age groups.

 

 

We have also been keen to help with sponsoring the football club’s annual golf day along with pitch side advertising banners.

 

 

As you can imagine the girls and ladies at Haverhill Rovers FC are thrilled with the advent of the Women's Euro Tournament and similarly we also are cheering on the teams from England and Northern Ireland. So with a big shout it's -
