Action Handling supply a wide range of premium quality Mobile Safety Steps at value-for-money prices, all designed to suit different levels of industry requirements.

One of our most popular models is the KE6 (6 Tread) Mobile Safety Steps, which are used by businesses across the UK. These medium duty safety steps are extremely useful in retail or warehouse situations, as well as across various other industries. One of our most established customers, a major UK supermarket chain, has been using KE6 steps for three decades and continues to place blanket orders for all of their new stores - proof of their enduring popularity.

We supply these steps in a range of standard sizes (2-9 Tread), there is no limit to the size or amount of accessories that can be added. For example, we can construct a walk-through gate at the top of the steps, or a specially reinforced platform for added safety. The steps can also be supplied finished in any colour you desire (not just the standard blue) plus with any other conceivable modifications. At Action Handling we believe in satisfying your requirements, rather than just selling equipment to simply ‘do the job’.

The technical stuff…

The KE6 Mobile Safety Steps feature a fully welded tubular steel frame construction and the treads and platform are all fitted with ribbed anti-slip material. The steps can be mobilised by tilting the front side onto the solid 200mm diameter rubber tyred wheels, fitted to a rear axle for ease of motion.

Safety guardrails protect the platform, which is also fitted with kick boards for operator safety. Handrails are fitted with rubber handgrips as standard, for added safety when ascending or descending the steps. The recommended time frame of use for standard stepladders is 30 minutes or less, so these medium duty mobile safety steps are perfect for when you need to work at height for extended periods of time.
