We were recently contacted by a pharmaceutical company down in Surrey who were experiencing a high level of ‘walk-in’ theft from their distribution warehouse serving the whole of southern England.
We sent along one of our sales representatives who spent the morning discussing the issue with senior management and the goods inwards staff. It would appear that some of the pharmaceuticals in question have a particular ‘street value’ and almost all of them are easily saleable across the online world. A few meetings later, a quote, a detailed CAD drawing and bespoke manufacture completed, then just 3 weeks later our engineers were on site ready to install the security cage in double quick time.
The construction included a heavy duty ‘goal post’ frame design in 100 x 100mm box section, with two internal double swing doors made from 60 x 60mm box section and infilled with 50 x 50mm mesh. Drop bolts are fitted to the doors and electrical access control has been installed using door interlocks.

The size of the cage was custom made to suit the area measuring 9.86m long x 4.68m high. All frame parts and mesh were finished in epoxy powder coated black.
