A local manufacturer of automotive lighting components approached us after discovering that the pallet lifter they intended to purchase had been discontinued by their original supplier. The client needed a replacement type of lifting device to use in their moulding shop, it had to safely lift and transport tooling from storage racks to the point of manufacture.

Falling leaves around premises at this time of year are a nuisance. They can affect your workplace by causing health and safety issues. We were recently contacted by a pharmaceutical company down in Surrey who were experiencing a high level of ‘walk-in’ theft from their distribution warehouse serving the whole of southern England. We sent along one of our sales representatives who spent the morning discussing the issue with senior management and the goods inwards staff. It would appear that some of the pharmaceuticals in question have a particular ‘street value’ and almost all of them are easily saleable across the online world.

Slips, trips and falls are the most common cause of injuries in the workplace. The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) reports that an average of 133,000 workers sustain non-fatal injuries due to same-level slips, trips and falls each year, costing UK employers about £512 million per year in lost production and other costs.
